GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Coming off a second straight 5-0 victory over Concordia to open the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament Wednesday evening, the No. 10 Davenport women's soccer team moves forward in the playoffs and welcomes fourth-seed Madonna for the semifinal Saturday at 4 p.m. The winner of the match will face the winner of the Northwestern Ohio-Aquinas match Friday.

The WHAC Tournament Thus Far
The top four seeds in the WHAC prevailed in the quarterfinal round as Davenport, the top seed in the tournament, saw five different Panthers score to eliminate No. 8 Concordia; second-seed Northwestern Ohio is coming off a 4-2 victory over No. 7 Indiana Tech; third-seed Aquinas eliminated crosstown rivals and sixth-seed Cornerstone 3-1 and No. 4 seed Madonna blanked five-seed Siena Heights 3-0.
The Last Meeting between Davenport and Madonna
Davenport found itself in a hole the last time against Madonna on Oct. 19. The Crusaders grabbed two early goals and were in control for a majority of the match before
Lizzie Paul's two goals got DU back on track and
Thelma Gylfadottir's goal in the 87th minute tied the match at three. Paul completed the DU comeback with a golden goal in the 104th minute to complete the hat trick.
