Scouting Goshen College – 0-2-0, 0-0-0 Crossroads League – Head coach Tavi Mounsithiraj (13th season)
Goshen College comes into the week 0-2-0 but have been very close to pulling off both of those matches as they fell 3-2 in overtime to Purdue Calumet and 2-0 to WHAC foe Siena Heights. The match against the Saints came in their season opener on Saturday evening. The Maple Leafs, under the direction of head coach Tavi Mounsithiraj, have been a program that had much success in the 2000's as they posted a 106-75-19 record over those 10 years, but the last three have been a struggle producing only 21 victories compared to 31 defeats. Only two players have scored thus far for the Maple Leafs as both Adres Garcia and Jordan Berkley tallied scores in the season opener. Dean Nafziger has played all 192 minutes in net allowing five goals.
The Weekend Ahead
After playing Goshen on Tuesday, the men will head back to Indiana this weekend where they will take on national power University of Rio Grande on Friday and host Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday in the IWU Tournament. The Red Storm are ranked No. 9 in the preseason which is the highest ranked a DU opponent has been since 2012 when the Panthers faced Auburn Montgomery. Saturday's game at IWU is against a Wildcat team receiving votes in the Top-25 poll.
TJ Ifaturoti Named DU Men's Athlete of the Week

The freshman posted a pair of assists in the two wins and the insurance goal in the win over Northwestern which included the assist on the game winner to Jai Maw.
