The Davenport Report – 7-12-0-0, 6-6-0-0 CCWHA
The Panthers are coming off a pair of losses to Liberty and Massachusetts in their home finale last weekend. Netminders Victoria Smishek and Lauren Yomantas combined for 74 saves between the pipes in their starts last weekend.

A Quick Look at Miami (Ohio) – 14-1-2, 9-1-2 CCWHA – Head Coach Scott Hicks
The RedHawks take the ice for the first time in 2014 and will look to pick up where they left off by winning five of their last seven games. In fact, Miami (Ohio) takes the ice for the first time since it shut out Northern Michigan 11-0 and 9-0 on November 22-23. Rachel Booth leads the team with 23 goals and 34 points while teammate Izzy Smith has notched 17 assists to pace the team in that department. Dana Lovin has seen the most minutes on the crease for the RedHawks, owning an 8-1-2 record with 249 saves and 1.62 goals-against average.

The Last Time These Two Teams Met
Davenport made its women's hockey debut at home against the RedHawks back in September. The RedHawks spoiled the festivities with a 6-1 win in game one followed by a 4-1 victory less than 24 hours later. Chantal Caraher took the honor of scoring the program's first goal 4:11 into the game while Victoria Smishek made 35 saves in goal. Megan DeVries would score the school's second goal in game two 7:51 into the first period and Lauren Yomantas stopped 35 shots in her first appearance.
