LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Davenport D2 hockey team bounced back after suffering their first loss of the season on Friday night. Davenport beat Louisville 5-1 on Saturday as
Donald Sund led the way with two goals in the game and three other Panthers tallied a goal. DU will return to action on Friday when they host Grand Valley State at the Patterson Ice Center for an 8:20 p.m. puck drop.

After suffering their first loss of the season Davenport looked to avenge a series opening loss against Louisville on Saturday. The Panthers did just that as they beat the Cardinals by a score of 5-1. DU had four different goal scorers in the game.

Donald Sund led the Davenport offensive attack with two goals in the game. Leading goal scorer for the Panthers,
Jake Otto, also chipped in with a goal.
Blake Damerow and
Kyle McConnell rounded out the Davenport goal scorers in the game.

Tyler Kuehl played in net for the Panthers to pick up his fifth win of the season. Davenport now moves to 9-1-0-0 on the year.

The Panthers will have a crucial Central Region match up next weekend as they host crosstown rival Grand Valley State at 8:20 p.m. on Saturday at Patterson Ice Center.
