GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – As part of feature week for the bowling team leading up to the WHAC Championship that they are hosting on Saturday, we talked to freshman
Andrew Anderson about his experience in college, how he has adapted to college bowling and his experience in Las Vegas for the Team USA Trials this January. Anderson will help lead his team to into Saturday where they will look to defend their WHAC title at Spectrum Lanes.
Anderson has led the bowling team as a freshman with a 213. 72 average on the season. He has not bowled an average at any event this season and has four top five finishes in eight events to along with one individual win. Anderson has also been recognized on a national stage as he traveled to Las Vegas this January for the Team USA Trials where he finished in 29th overall in the competition that included some of the best bowlers in country, including Professional Bowler Association (PBA) tour members.
Andrew Anderson will lead the bowling squad into the WHAC Championship on Saturday at Spectrum Lanes in Grand Rapids, Mich. where they will look to defend their conference championship.
