ADRIAN, Mich. – The second Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference bowling jamboree took place at Lenawee Recreation Lanes on Saturday as the Davenport men finished fourth and the women eighth in a field of eight teams per gender.
The men finished with a total pinfall of 6,781 and were one pin out of third place by Northwestern Ohio. Concordia totaled 7,032 followed by Lawrence Tech (6,941). The Panthers averaged 941.81 over four individual games and four baker games. The women finished with a total pinfall of 5,413 and averaged 751.81. Concordia won on the women's side with 6,602 pins followed by Lawrence Tech (6,293) and Indiana Tech (6,159).
Dionte Johnson had the highest average for the men's team at 202.25 and placed sixth in total pins. He had a game high of 234 in the second game and bowled three straight 200-games.
Adam Batliner finished 15 in total pins and averaged 192.25 with a high score of 225 in the second game.
Chris Morgan placed 19th with an average of 186 and bowled a 229 in the second game. John
Trevor Lewis placed 24th with an average of 180.75 and rolled a 223 in the second game.
Olivia Clark placed 11th in total pins for the women and averaged 168.25 in four games.
Taylor Rickard was 22nd with an average of 157.75.
Anna Sieffert averaged 151 and had the 25th highest pin count.
Mercedes Herrera averaged 132 in four games.
