GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Davenport tennis team's concluded their regular season on Wednesday afternoon as they hosted WHAC foe, Indiana Tech on senior day. The men's team was able to take their match, 7-2, and the women swept Indiana Tech, 9-0. Davenport will now wait to see who they face in the opening round of the WHAC Tournament.

In the women's match, the Panthers got off to a strong start as
Alyssa Fuentes and
Puck Luttikhuis took the first doubles match, 8-1, while
Montserrat Elizondo and Bridgett Barrett took doubles two, 8-6.
Emily Spiech and
Marcie Kooyers wrapped up doubles play with an 8-1, to take a 3-0 lead. The Lady Panthers continued to roll in singles as they did not drop a single set throughout singles and only dropped four game through the first three matches en route to a 9-0 win over Indiana Tech.

On the men's side, Indiana Tech took the first doubles match as they won doubles No. 3, 8-1, but the Davenport came back to win the next two matches to take a 2-1 lead heading into singles. The Warriors took the first singles match, 6-2, 6-4, but the Panthers took control of the match winning the final five singles matches, four of which came in straight sets. Davenport beat Indiana Tech, 7-2, to take sole possession of third place in the WHAC heading into the postseason.
