STURGIS, Mich. – The men's golf team saw first place in the WHAC standings slip through their grasp on Friday as they finished in a tie for fourth in the fourth jamboree at Klinger Lake Country Club. Siena Heights trailed by three strokes heading into the day and were eight strokes better than the Panthers to take the jamboree and possession of first in the standings. Lourdes finished one stroke back of the Saints followed by Indiana Tech (292). The Panthers and Northwestern Ohio tied with a score of 296 which means Davenport is in second place overall after four jamboree rounds.
Ben Torchia of Lourdes won medalist honors with a four-under par 66.
Jorge Benitez claimed a top 10 finish tying for sixth with a two-over par 72.
Michael Cooper competed for the first time this season and tied for 12th with a four-over par 74.

Mitchell Wandell tied for 17th with a score of five-over par 75.
