WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The No. 6 Davenport baseball team dropped a 3-2 decision to No. 15 Keiser on Saturday afternoon. Steve Bruce improved to 4-0 this season for Keiser as he tossed a complete game and allowed seven hits and two runs. He allowed one walk and struck out five.
Brandon White got the start for Davenport and went five innings in the no-decision. White allowed nine hits and two runs and also struck out six.
Krystien Johnson-Batillana threw three innings in relief of White and allowed one hit and one run with four strikeouts.
Brian Sobieski went 1-for-3 with a double.
Matt Priebe went 2-for-2 with a homer and two RBI.
Brandon Larkin-Guilfoyle went 2-for-4 with a run scored.
