SEYMOUR, Ind. - The Davenport men's golf team finished second in a 10-team field at the Hanover Spring Invitational hosted at the Shadowood Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday. The Panthers went south to avoid the uncharacteristic snow in the local area and shot 617 (+41) to finish 18 strokes behind Northwestern Ohio.

Jorge Benitez had the best finish for the Panthers in fifth place with a two-round total of 151 including a 73 in the final round. Mitchell Wandell finished two strokes back in sixth place with a 153 including a 75 in the first round. Mitchell Garrison tied for ninth with a 156 carding a 77-79. Michael Cooper shot 161 and tied for 23rd. Josh Switzer scored a 162 and tied for 27th.
