GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport men's golf team hosted the Furniture City Classic at Stonewater Country Club on Saturday and won the event with a team score of five-under par 283. The Panthers were eight strokes ahead of Hope followed by Cornerstone (312) and Calvin (316).

Michael Cooper shot a season-low 70 (-2) and shared medalist honors with teammate Mitchell Wandell. Austin Sereno shot one-under par 71. Mitchell Garrison shot even-par 72 and tied for fifth. Jorge Benitez and Josh Switzer carded 74 and 75 respectively. Jamie Cattran played as an individual shooting 77 (+5).
