In the doubles competitions the duo of
Steph Ritson and
Adeline Nelson lost 2-8, while the combination of
Terin Everse and
Bridget Barrett fell 4-8. Davenport defaulted in the final doubles spot.
Ritson put up the best fight in singles, losing 5-7 and 3-6. In the second singles for DU was Nelson, who lost 1-6 and 1-6. Everse competed in the third singles slot and lost 3-6 and 2-6. In her last ever GLIAC match Barrett lost 3-6 and 3-6 in the fourth singles.

After the match we caught up with Head Coach
Patrick Grashorn. "Knowing we would be short handed all season, our goal this year was to better today than we were yesterday. Overall, the girls continued to battle regardless of the circumstances. We have more matches to play this spring as we continue to gain experience heading into our next GLIAC season. We are looking forward to being back at full strength."
