BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Davenport baseball team got back on the diamond after a 6-3 record during the fall on Friday at Union College. The teams each had a few big innings but the Bulldogs had more firepower in an 8-5 win over the Panthers.

Davenport trailed 3-0 after three innings but tied the game with three runs in the top of the fourth. Union responded with three home runs in the next three innings to take an 8-3 lead after six innings.
Matt Hoge had a sacrifice fly in the seventh and Larkin-Guilfoyle reached on a throwing error in the ninth as Harris scored the team's fifth run.
