MIDLAND, Mich. – The men's tennis team fell 7-2 against NCAA D2 opponent Northwood University. The Timberwolves won all but one singles competitions and all but one double competitions.
Sam Rogerson won in the singles category for DU over Kobus Sauerman of Northwood by scores of 4-6, 6-3 and 6-4. Rogerson also won in doubles with teammate
Juan-Philip van Antwerpen, they defeated the combo of Francois Sauerrman and David Reinauer 9-7.
Michael Digby and
Max Hartman lost a hard fought battle in doubles against Hayden Drury and Ivan Medvynskyi 9-8. Digby also had a close decision in singles with a 6-4, 6-7 and 7-6 loss against Lorenz Bialkowski.
The team travels to Wisconsin this upcoming weekend to take on NAIA foe Cardinal Stritch University.
