GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Davenport fell in a close match against the Saints 5-4. The Panthers had a great showing in the singles competitions, winning four of the six matches. The Saints swept Davenport in all three doubles matches to take the narrow victory.

In the singles competitions
Matthew McClurg,
Sam Rogerson,
Michael Digby and
Haja Denise all tallied a point for Davenport. McClurg took a three set victory in the first singles slot and Rogerson followed him up in the number two singles spot with a 6-2 and 6-4 win. Digby and Denise took two set victories in the fourth and fifth singles slots.
Davenport had difficulty getting a point in the doubles competitions as the Saints swept all three matches against the Panthers.
