GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Panthers lost a tough battle against WHAC opponent Lawrence Tech 6-3 while playing at the Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex. Davenport was able to get a win in during both the singles and doubles competitions.
Sam Rogerson and
Juan-Philip van Antwerpen were the only DU tennis player to win both their singles and doubles match during the match.

During the singles competitions Antwerpen and Rogerson were the only players to chalk up a victory. Rogerson won a three set battle in the two singles slot 6-2, 2-6 and 6-4. Antwerpen took his opponent down in only two sets 6-3 and 7-5.
Michael Digby put up a great fight during his singles match, winning nine games during the two set match.
In the doubles competitions Rogerson and Antwerpen teamed up for an 8-5 win in the two doubles slot.
Haja Denise and Digby lost 8-4 in the first doubles spot, while
Matthew McClurg and
Max Hartman fell 8-1 in the third doubles spot.
