LIMA, Ohio. – Davenport had their season ended in the WHAC tournament semifinals by Northwestern Ohio 5-0. Before the loss to the Racers Davenport defeated Cornerstone University 5-3 in the quarterfinals. The Panthers had a very tough schedule down the stretch and in the conference tournament. Facing four teams ranked in the top-25 nationally in their last seven matches. The team finished the season 11-14 and defeated two teams that were nationally ranked.
Match 1 (Friday, April 28 at 9:00 a.m.)
Final score: Davenport-5 | Cornerstone-3

Doubles Competition
Davenport took two of the three doubles competitions.
Sam Rogerson and
Juan-Philip van Antwerpen took an 8-6 win in the second doubles spot.
Max Hartman and
Matthew McClurg gave the Panthers a 2-1 lead after their 8-4 win in the last doubles slot.
Singles Competition
After the first and second singles fell for DU the remaining three took care of business.
Michael Digby, Hartman and McClurg all won their matches to help Davenport take the 5-3 win. Digby won 6-4 and 7-5, while McClurg finished off his opponent in three sets. Hartman cruised to an easy 6-4 and 6-0 wins in the fifth singles spot.
Match 2 (Friday, April 28 at 2:00 p.m.)
Final score: Davenport-0 | Northwestern Ohio-5

Doubles Competition
The Panthers fell to the Racers for the second time this season and both times UNOH had a national ranking of four. Davenport lost all three doubles matches against the Racers. The duo of Rogerson and Antwerpen won three games during their match.
Singles Competition
Only two of the six singles matches were completed due to the overall score. Antwerpen, Digby, Hartmand and McClurg all didn't finish their single matches.
