Panthers drop a pair of games against Aquinas

HOW IT HAPPENED
-After a little break, the Panthers opened up a weekend series against Aquinas on Friday. It didn't take long for the Panthers to strike as Josh Uzzell fed Evan Carroll for the first goal of the game coming just 35 seconds after puck drop. After some good battles, Aquinas tied it all up at the 17:44 mark. Aquinas added another before the period was over to take the lead 2-1.
-Aquinas came out hot in the second, recording two more unanswered goals and extending their lead to 4-1. With 12 seconds left in the second, Adam Hulsey sent the puck to Tyler Jaenicke and Jaenicke puts it in the back of the net to cut the deficit to 4-2.
-Aquinas came out firing in the third, recording four unanswered goals and eventually winning the game 8-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Panthers looked to get revenge on the Saints after Friday's loss.
-Pick it up three minutes into the third and Aquinas takes the early 1-0 lead. About seven minutes later Davenport's Jacob Demeter ties it up at 1 from a nice pass by Tyler Blackburn. The first ends tied 1-1.
-The second and third period was all Aquinas. They managed to put away nine unanswered goals and record a sweep of the weekend with a final score of 10-2.

Davenport will face Grand Valley State on Friday, December 14th at 6:00 p.m. The game will take place at the Georgetown Ice Center.
