BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – Davenport embarked on their toughest journey so far this season, facing the number one team in the conference. The Panthers, who were 5-1 coming into the match, took on the Bulldogs of Ferris State, who were undefeated prior to the match. Both teams had already solidified a spot in the conference tournament and were fighting to see who would win the conference. The Bulldogs proved to be too much to handle for the Panthers on the day, sweeping all the doubles competitions and only giving up two points in singles. Davenport will hopefully get another crack against the Bulldogs in the GLIAC Tournament.
