MARION, Ind. – The Panthers took a break from conference play in their regular season schedule with two non-conference matches in Indiana. Davenport took on a nationally-ranked team in the NAIA, Indiana Wesleyan, and defeated them 5-1. The Wildcats held a record of 24-7 heading into the match. The Panthers made quick work of Indiana Wesleyan, beating the Wildcats 5-1.

Doubles Competition
The Panthers took a 2-1 lead after the doubles matches.
Marc Lerch and
Juan-Louis van Antwerpen won 8-4 in first doubles, while
Matthew McClurg and
Jonathan Bulmer won 8-3 in second doubles. DU suffered a 8-4 loss in third doubles.
Singles Competition
Only three of the singles matches actually completed, the other three played one full set and then went unfinished. Lerch won in first singles 7-5 and 6-0 over Gavin White. The next point was earned by McClurg in third singles, winning 6-4 and 6-3.
Michael Digby earned the fifth and match-winning point for the Panthers. Digby won 6-1 and 6-1 in sixth singles.
