HOW IT HAPPENED
-This game was all Davenport. The Panthers came out firing on all cylinders. Just 1:25 into the frame and they put their first on the board. Evan Carroll and Jessee Game fed Trevor Murray and he cashed in. The second goal of the game did not come until almost the 11-minute mark. Tyler Jaenicke set Carroll up nicely and he did what he does best, scores. DU holds their 2-0 lead as the first ends.
-The second period starts out a lot like the first, with the Panthers scoring. Three minutes into the second and Tyler Majewski extends Davenport's lead to three. Majewski's goal was assisted by Jacob Demeter and Game. Almost two minutes later and it's the Panthers striking again. This time its Kyle Mazur burying a nice pass from Jaenicke. The second ends with DU leading 4-0.
-The third started out a little differently this time. Rowan managed to squeak one by but that did not matter as DU scored three more unanswered goals and sealed a 7-1 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The start of this game had the making of a long night for Panther fans. Penn State scored four straight goals to open the first. DU was not going down without a fight though. Just 7:57 into the frame, Joshua Uzzell got the Panthers on the board and was set up nicely by Murray and Carroll. The first ends with Penn State up 4-1.
-Penn State ran out of gas as DU dominated the rest of the game. A minute into the second, Jeff Rahilly and Marc Rotondo set up Clint Loney and cut their deficit down to only two. About 10 minutes later, Rotondo and Kyle Mayes give Demeter the puck and he cashes in for his first of the game. The Panthers managed to tie the game with minutes to spare in the second. Jaenicke continues his point streak as he sets up Seymour. The second ends all tied at four.
-Start of the third was a lot like the second with Davenport scoring. The Panthers recorded three more unanswered goals and took control of the game winning it 7-4. The last three goals were scored by Murray, Seymour, and Carroll.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Davenport comes into this game with a nice little win streak developing. This game was the definition of a nail-biter. Period one both teams had great scoring chances right off the bat. The Eagles lucked out with one of their chances to take the early 1-0 lead. The first ended with Florida Gulf Coast up 1-0.
-The Panthers came out flying to start the second period. Adam Hulsey set up Demeter and we are tied 1-1.
-With seven minutes left in the second frame, the Eagles scored the last goal of the period and took the lead back.
-The third period is where things get crazy. Fast forward to under a minute left in the game, DU pulls their goalie to give them a 6-on-5 advantage. 21 seconds left and Uzzell ties the game at 2Â and then with four seconds left he buries another one and wins it for the Panthers!
-The boys continue their five-game win streak and take down a couple very tough opponents this weekend.
