CALEDONIA, Mich. – Davenport earned their first conference win of the season just under one week ago and held onto that momentum by defeating Lake Superior State today. The Panthers defeated the Lakers by a score of 5-2 at the Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex. Davenport left no doubt as they won four of the six singles matches. Senior Matthew McClurg secures a spot in the DU history book as he won his 100^th career match while at Davenport. His doubles win with Jonathan Bulmer earned win number 100.
 
Saturday, April 6: Davenport-5 | Lake Superior State-2
Doubles Competition

• In one doubles, McClurg and Bulmer won 6-1. The two are now 13-4 overall together this season.
• Remy Johansen and Juan-Louis van Antwerpen won 7-5 in two doubles.
• Davenport lost in three doubles 6-3 with Michael Digby and Parker Keas 

Singles Competition

• Johansen fell in one singles in three sets, losing the tie-breaker set 10-4.
• McClurg won his 101^st match in two singles, winning 6-4, 6-7, and 10-3.
• In three singles, van Antwerpen won 6-2 and 6-3.
• Bulmer and Digby each breezed past their opponents. The two each won in singles 6-2 and 6-1.
• In six singles, Keas fell 6-2 and 6-1.

Davenport is right back at it again tomorrow as they welcome Michigan Tech to the Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex. The match will start at 10:00 a.m. sharp.
