- Johansen fell in one singles in three sets, losing the tie-breaker set 10-4.
- McClurg won his 101st match in two singles, winning 6-4, 6-7, and 10-3.
- In three singles, van Antwerpen won 6-2 and 6-3.
- Bulmer and Digby each breezed past their opponents. The two each won in singles 6-2 and 6-1.
- In six singles, Keas fell 6-2 and 6-1.
