CALEDONIA, Mich. - The men's tennis team got their slim fall schedule underway on Wednesday night with a 4-3 win over Aquinas.
In a matchup of former WHAC foes, the Panthers took all three doubles matches and earned one point.
Jonathan Bulmer and
Remy Johansen cruised to a 6-1 win at one doubles. The other tandems of Juan Louis van Antwerpen and
Daniil Khitrou as well as
Matt Leatherman and
Parker Keas each won 6-3.
Johansen competed at one singles and won 7-5, 6-2 over Joel Hancox. van Antwerpen also was dominant in a 6-0, 6-2 win at two singles over Mariano Arroyo. Bulmer also won 6-3, 6-2 at three singles over Max Goldbeck-Lowe. Khitrou and Keas each fell in three sets.
