PUEBLO, Colo. – The Panthers completed their Colorado trip against Colorado State University-Pueblo (CSUP) and earned a 17-11 victory. Davenport ends their trip to the great State of Colorado with a 2-0 record and an overall record of 3-1 to date.
Tylor Baker earned her second win, while
Taylor Ries and
Anna Glynn each recorded six points in the game.

How It Happened
Davenport started the game scoring two straight, CSUP responded with two of their own. After the Wolves tied the game 2-2 with 19:25 in the first period, Davenport went on a seven goal tear. The run started with
Aaliyah Miller, then Glynn scored, followed by
Brenna Knoll, Miller,
Reilly Noble, Knoll and Glynn again. The seven goal stretch by the Panthers helped them take a 9-3 lead at halftime.
The second half was evenly matched, with both teams scoring eight goals. The lowest the Panther lead got was four goals in the second, and reached as high as seven late in the game. Freshman goalkeeper Baker recorded 10 saves in the game and the Davenport defense caused 14 turnovers. The defense was led by
Christine Steffes, who recorded eight ground balls and five caused turnovers.
The win marks the third for Davenport this season and now hold an impressive 3-1 record on the road/neutral sites.
