CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – After a rough outing against Lindenwood, the Panthers looked to bounce back against the second-year program at Maryville University.
The game was close from start to finish. However, two goals in the third period put the Panthers away.

The Saints struck first in the opening frame, despite DU outshooting Maryville 15-9, as Spencer Barlow scored late in the period. Josh Salmon found the back of the net in the second period, and the Saints led by a pair heading into the third period.
Maryville added two more in the third, as Joseph Sabatino and Michael Lane each were able to sneak goals by DU's Brendan Bogema.
DU would get on the board with a power play goal from
Ryan Gamber, with the assist coming from
Adam Hulsey. Yet, it was too little, too late as the Saints earned only their second win of the season.

The Panthers play one final time this weekend on Sunday, as they wrap up their regular season against the Saints on Sunday.
