UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - Competing in the GLIAC Tournament for the first time since the fall of 2018 on Friday, the Davenport women's volleyball program was happy to be back and it showed. The Panthers made quick work of Lake Superior State in the opening round, 3-0, and move on to face No. 20 Northern Michigan in the quarterfinals on Friday night at 7 p.m.

- Davenport hit .214 for the match with 34 kills and 13 errors on 98 total attacks.
- The Panthers have hit at least .200 in six of their last seven matches after doing so just three times in the first eight matches.
- Davenport saved the best for last as it hit a blistering .357 in the third set with 13 kills and only three errors on 28 swings.
- The Player of the Match for the Panthers was sophomore libero, Kalinowski with a season high 25 digs.
- Kreiger made it six matches in a row with at least 15 kills after reaching that mark once in the first nine matches.
- The two-time First-Team All-GLIAC honoree also hit at least .300 for the sixth time in her last seven outings (zero times in the first eight).
- Groves broke a three-match stretch in which she didn't hit at least .300 and has now done so six times this season.
- Odeen now has at least one service ace in six-straight matches and all but four of her matches this season.
