Box Score CALEDONIA, Mich. - The 2021-22 season officially began this past weekend for the men's tennis team as they hosted Ferris State and Grand Valley State in an invitational at the DU Tennis Courts.

Daniil Khitrou picked up a singles win over Martin Matov of GVSU (6-2, 2-6, 10-6) in a thrilling match. Maxim Drinchich making his debut for the Panthers won 1-6, 6-2, 10-2 over Ryan Rhoades of GVSU. Eli Wisser picked up a 6-3, 6-3 win over Alec Olivier of Ferris State. Bennet Dozeman also picked up a win over Andrew Swirczek of FSU (7-6, 6-1).

Juan-Louis van Antwerpen and Jonathan Bulmer teamed up in doubles to pull off an 8-4 win over Mathis Guerre and Jan Koupil of Ferris State. Juan Pino Contoleon and Bernard Anderson got together for a 4-3, retired win against the Ferris State tandem of Swirczek and Olivier. Wisser and Dozeman played fellow teammates Bobby Tarrant and Max Dion and won 8-4.
