GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Riding a six-match winning streak, one off their season high, the Davenport University women's volleyball team will host Parkside on Friday at 7 p.m. before traveling to Purdue Northwest on Saturday for a 2 p.m. ET first serve. Sitting at 14-4 overall and 7-2 in GLIAC play, one game out of first place in the league standings, the Panthers will be playing their final matches before the Midwest Region Crossover on Oct. 14-15 in Hammond, Ind.

Starting with Parkside, Davenport leads the all-time series, 7-2, and has won three matches in a row between the two teams. The Rangers (7-10, 2-7 GLIAC) come in having lost four outings in a row and five of their last six.

Leading the attack for UWP is a quartet of hitters with at least 100 kills including Reese Rossnagel (195 kills, tied for fifth in GLIAC), Ava Irvin (124), Lexi Packard (109), and Jazmine Neal (100). Running the offense and getting the ball to those four has been a pair of setters in Karlee Lois (310 assists, ninth in GLIAC) and Alysha Brickl (235) while Elizabeth Truckenbrod has been the team's best server with 30 aces to her name (second in GLIAC). Defensively, Truckenbrod is on top of the digs category with 209 (ninth in GLIAC) while Brickl (135) and Lois (130) are also in the discussion and Lindsay Krznarich tops the squad in blocks (61, tied for first in GLIAC).

On to Purdue Northwest (6-11, 1-8 GLIAC), Davenport has never lost a set to the Pride and leads the all-time series, 10-0. PNW has dropped seven-straight matches, eight of the last nine and three in a row away from home.

Statistically, Purdue Northwest's leaders include Arra Cottrell (119 kills), Lauren Sanders (108 kills), Olivia Brooke (209 assists), Marina Gronkiewicz (198 assists), Livia Thomsen (23 aces, tied for sixth in GLIAC), Kylie Martin (227 digs, tied for fifth in GLIAC), and Alyson Dees (39 blocks).
