GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - It was a bittersweet day for the men's lacrosse team as they celebrated six seniors playing in their final home game. The Panthers had a tough test against No. 9 Lindenwood and the Lions improved to 5-0 in the GLVC with a 9-3 win over the Panthers. The game marked the first time that the Panthers did not give up double-digit goals in their last five games. The Lions held the Panthers off the scoreboard for the first three quarters.
Lindenwood scored the first nine goals and Davenport scored the last three goals in the game. Patrick Kaschalk, Peter Covington, and Cam Smith each scored twice for the Lions.

Andy Trapp, and
Jordan Caskenette each scored a goal for Davenport. Each team scored two man-up goals in the contest. Lindenwood was 2-for-6 and Davenport was 2-for-5 in extra-man chances.
Lindenwood won 10-of-16 faceoffs with Jony Major and Michael Miocic each winning five.
Lucas Renzetti won all six faceoffs for the Panthers. DU managed 16 shots on goal with
Jordan Caskenette leading the way with five.
