I want to thank Davenport University for providing me the opportunity to coach college hockey which has spanned over 14 years. It was a dream of mine and I loved every minute of it. The list is long of the people I am truly indebted to that have been a huge part of my success here at Davenport.

To begin, I extend a big thank you to all of the professors and staff that has helped me over the years; Admissions, Marketing, Operations staff, Trainers, Sports Information, Compliance, Coaches, and all of you that were instrumental in our overall goals and successes.

A special thank you to Karen Mosier. She is a wonderful person and did a great job on helping my players stay task-oriented and organized. The countless hours she has spent with my boys and even coming over to the rink to go beyond the call of duty was always appreciated. She is a great person and has a beautiful soul.  Thank you for all of your hard work and help over the years.

A special thank you to Kelly Stafford. Kelly has been an absolute rock star and backbone to our program over the years. The countless hours of assistance and support was unbelievable. She was always quick to help and always gave her best. Kelly is a great friend of mine and has been a major key to our organization. Kelly, thank you for everything you did and the person you are, don't change a thing!

I want to give a special thank you to Paul Lowden. His belief in me as a young coach and his years of mentoring and guidance has helped me mature and learn valuable life skills that will stay with me for years to come. He is a great leader and has done an amazing job in the overall growth of Davenport University. I started with this school when we were located downtown and had two sports programs. To see the growth today is evidence of how valuable Mr. Lowden has been to the overall success of Davenport University.

I want to wish Matt Krzykwa the best in taking over this program which has been built from blood, sweat, and tears. It has an enriched past of culture, traditions, and family. He will do a great job continuing that message and creating his own flair to future successes.

Our goal has always been to develop great young men that will flourish when they enter the workforce and attack their dreams. We have given our best to make sure they are ready for whatever the world may throw at them. Matt will be a wonderful asset to the hockey program. I would wish him the best of luck taking over, but he doesn't need it, he is a GREAT coach!

Lastly, I want to thank all of my players over the past 14 seasons. Thank you for so many amazing memories and experiences with all of you. The good, the bad, and the ugly were all great learning moments and experiences. I will be cheering for years to come for you all. I appreciated all of your commitments and wish you all the best of the luck in the future seasons and in your overall career. As always, I am here for any one of my Panthers, all you have to do is reach out.

Thank you and wishing you all the best!
