The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) organization announced on Thursday, May 26 their Academic All-District Teams in the sport of cross country/track and field. In NCAA Division II, District IV the Panthers had
Noah Dooley and
Isaiah Schafer earned this prestigious award as voted on by the Sports Information Directors in the district. Both student-athletes will now advance to the national ballot in hopes of being voted as Academic All-American in NCAA Division II.
Dooley and Schafer both qualified for the NCAA Outdoor National Championship being held today through Saturday at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich. Dooley is competing in the decathlon after breaking the GLIAC Outdoor meet record and Schafer is competing in the shot put and discus at nationals with a chance to become a two-time outdoor All-American.
