INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Committee has selected the 48 teams that will be participating in the 2022 NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Championship. Preliminary rounds will be played May 9-10 at sixteen regional sites. The winning team from each site will advance to the finals, May 18-22, in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The Panthers are making their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament and were selected as an at-large participant. Davenport is the seventh seed in the Midwest Regional and will face second-seed University of Indianapolis on Monday, May 9. The match will take place at 10:00 AM ET at Center Grove High School in Greenwood, Indiana. The Greyhounds are the host school of the block of four teams competing in the second half of the draw. McKendree and Tiffin will also square off on Monday and the winners will play each other on Tuesday, May 10 also at 10:00 AM. Davenport and Indianapolis will be playing each other for the first time.
