Trio of Panthers Earn All-GLIAC Honors

GLIAC --  Brandon Bodis, Noah Bridgeman, and Aiden Deng of the Davenport men's golf team received All-GLIAC honors as announced by the league Monday afternoon. 

Off the heels of an All-GLIAC honorable mention season as a junior, Bodis had the best season of his career. The Avon Lake, Ohio native set two school records this season for the lowest 18-hole score (66), as well as the lowest 54-hole score (211). The senior currently holds the best 18-hole average in school history (71.63) heading into regional play, with his lowest round on the season being 66, marking the best on the team.

For the second consecutive season, Bridgeman has garnered second-team All-GLIAC honors in his junior campaign. The Clarkston, Mich. native tied Bodis for the school record for the lowest 54-hole score (211). Coming in just behind Bodis, Bridgman sits at second all-time in program history in average 18-hole in a season (73.26), while his best round this year was 68.

As for Deng, he is the first true freshman to earn All-GLIAC honors for Davenport, notching a spot on the honorable mention team. The Peterborough, Ontario native has ended the regular season with an average 18-hole score of 74.41 with a low round of 68 on the year.
