NORMAN, Okla - Brandon Bodis of the Davenport University men's golf team was named to the NCAA Division II PING All-Midwest Region team as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Thursday afternoon. The senior is the fifth Panther in program history to garner All-region honors, while being the first since the school made the jump to Division II ahead of the 2017-18 academic year.
The Avon Lake, Ohio native was named First Team All-GLIAC at the conclusion of the regular season, becoming just the second player to do so.
In his final season with DU, Bodis had arguably the best single-season in program history, ending with the best scoring average in school history at 71.9. Bodis set two other school records this season for the lowest 18-hole score (66), as well as the lowest 54-hole score (211).
