DEARBORN, Mich. - The Davenport University men's golf team completed its time at the Motor City Shakedown on Tuesday afternoon at TPC Michigan. The Panthers finished fifth overall, shooting a two-round score of 593 (+17).
Leading the way for the Panthers was freshman
Chen-Shiuan Wu, capturing the first top-10 finish of his career. The Taipei, Taiwan native placed seventh, shooting a 145 (+1) with a low round of 72. Wu tallied nine birdies through the day event,
Garnering an 11th-place finish was
Foster Faber, shooting two over par (146) with a low round of 70 on day two. On the final day, Faber recorded four birdies.
Aiden Deng finished 23rd overall, shooting 149 (+5), with a low-round of 72 in the second. The junior finished the event with nine birdies through two rounds of action.
Hudson Turcotte ranked 32 overall for DU, shooting 153 (+9), while
Pedro Russi ended 35th with a two-round score of 154 (+10).
