Preview: DU to play final home match of regular season, hits the road Sunday

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Shutting out last week's matchups for an undefeated 2-0 record, Davenport University women's soccer (6-3-4, 4-2-3 GLIAC) is set to host its final regular-season home match of 2024 followed by a road contest to cap off the weekend.

Week Seven Recap
  • Wolter earned second GLIAC Defensive POW honor this year
    • Held Michigan Tech (1-0) and Northern Michigan (1-0) scoreless (six total saves)
    • Marked fourth and fifth shutout victories of 2024
      • T-No. 25 in NCAA DII for shutouts
    • Moved to t-No. 6 for most shutouts and t-No. 7 for most wins in a single season by a keeper in program history
  • Diekevers netted fourth game-winner (fifth score) this year in the win over NMU
    • T-No. 11 in NCAA DII and No. 1 in GLIAC for game-winners 
  • Scholten logged fourth assist this season in matchup against Wildcats
The Panthers are streaking with three straight wins. They're one victory shy of setting a program record for the most conference wins (and winning the second-most matches overall) in a single season in the NCAA/GLIAC era. DU is currently fourth in the conference with 15 points; one point shy of third-ranked Ferris State.
