Preview: DU heads to Big Rapids for GLIAC Tournament Quarterfinals

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Davenport University women's soccer is set to face Ferris State University in the 2024 GLIAC Tournament Quarterfinals, with both teams in the middle of the pack of an eight-team tournament.

GLIAC First-Round Preview
The Panthers couldn't secure the fourth seed in the conference tournament after the Bulldogs won their final regular-season matchup on Nov. 9, giving the opponent a one-point edge in total conference points (23) to seed Ferris at No. 4 and DU at No. 5. DU's season series against Ferris finished 0-0-2 as the third meeting of 2024 promises to be a balanced matchup in a win-or-go-home situation.

Tomorrow's (Nov. 12) quarterfinal contest will be the third time the teams have played each other in the first round of the postseason, as the Bulldogs won both times in 2018 and 2021.
