Panthers drop a pair against GVSU

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Davenport University men's D3 ice hockey saw its first action in roughly two weeks in a weekend series against crosstown opponent Grand Valley State University.

The Panthers couldn't notch a score in the two-game series, falling 0-2 in double-digit shutouts against the Lakers (12-0 and 14-0).

Still looking for its first win this year (0-12-0), DU will be back on the ice Dec. 6-8 to kick off a weekend series against Adrian College, with both contests against the Bulldogs at Arrington Ice Arena.
