Preview: DU hosts UWP in first round of GLIAC Tournament

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Davenport University men's soccer comes in at No. 7 in the NCAA Division II Super-Region 3 polls ahead of its GLIAC Tournament Quarterfinals matchup this weekend. DU finished the regular season 8-6-4 overall (5-4-3 GLIAC), claiming two top-15 victories between those 18 matches. 

Beau Hudd started and played in 15 of 18 contests, marking a 1.27 goals-allowed average (.775 save %) and 62 total saves - placing him at No. 9 for career saves and No. 10 for most wins in the program's history books. George Deveau is also the (current) No. 3 leader for games started (84), No. 5 for games played (84), and No. 2 all-time for total minutes played (7,496).

Easton Lopez tallied a team-high six goals and 13 points, with Andrew Dykstra (four goals) and Cam Power (two goals, three assists) following close behind with nine and seven points, respectively. 

2024 Offensive Production (cont.) The Panthers are the fourth seed in the postseason tournament, giving them a home pitch advantage in the first round as they look to claim the conference title and a national tournament berth.
