SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - The Davenport men's tennis team did not find a favorable result in the final match of the weekend at Lake Superior State on Saturday. The Panthers dip one match below the .500 mark (11-12) overall for the season while the Lakers improved to 7-4.
The Lakers really set the tone in doubles winning all three matchups. They dropped just five games in those three to earn the point.
The Lakers then did not drop a set in singles to complete the shutout of 7-0.
Jan Stolin had the best chance at victory at one singles but dropped a 7-5, 6-4 decision to Lluc Limongi Ollers.Â
