GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Building on his First Team All-GLIAC selection and his title as GLIAC Freshman of the Year, Charlie Davis continues to elevate his postseason résumé earning D2CCA First Team All-Region honors. The true freshman midfielder was one of just four GLIAC players selected to the First Team and one of only two freshmen across the entire All-Midwest Region First and Second Teams.

Davis's selection places him among the top midfielders in the region, joining standout players such as Saginaw Valley State's Eoin Farrell and Rockhurst's Kaden Cripe. Across all conferences represented—GLIAC, GLVC, and G-MAC - only 13 players earned First Team honors, underscoring the significance of Davis's achievement. Davenport was also one of just one school in the region to have a First Team midfielder.

His inclusion on the First Team highlights a season of consistent impact and leadership. Davis was one of four Panthers to start every match this year and led Davenport in goals (5), points (16), assists (6), shots (52), shots on goal (26), and game-winning goals (3). His attacking presence stood out on a regional scale, with shot and point totals that rivaled many of the senior and graduate players who also made the list.

He made an immediate impression in the season opener by scoring his first collegiate goal, helping DU earn its first opening-day win since 2002. His breakout weekend included a two-goal, one-assist performance against Northern Michigan and an Olimpico goal the following match-earning him GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week after totaling three goals, one assist, and 10 shots across two games.

Davis's First Team All-Region selection also contributes to the GLIAC's showing in regional awards, as the conference produced eight total All-Region honorees (four First Team, four Second Team). With 24 institutions voting across conferences, Davis's recognition reflects strong support from coaches and administrators throughout the Midwest.

Now earning D2CCA First Team All-Region status, Davis has firmly established himself as one of the premier young midfielders in Division II and a cornerstone for Davenport's future success.
