UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - It was a very successful meet for the Panthers over the last two days at the SVSU Jet's Pizza Invitational. The team is rounding into shape with the GLIAC Indoor Championships on the horizon one month from now.
Ibrahim Fall placed third in the 200 meters (21.59) and hit the NCAA provisional mark.
Nick Ruvalcaba and
Bryce Albrecht each hit the NCAA provisional mark in the pole vault with a height of 15' 8.25".
Brayden Green won the triple jump with a distance of 46' 2.5".
Marcus Nystrom placed second in the 60 hurdles with a PR of 8.25.
Tyler Guggemos ran a PR in the mile at 4:16.96 and had the second fastest time in DU history. Guggemos in addition placed second in the 800 meters with a time of 1:53.29 which was a PR and second fastest in school history.
Lucas Van Meter hit a PR in the 800 meters (1:54.89) and had the third best time ever at DU.
Julia Tuuri took second place in the 60 meters (7.76) and also won the 200 meters with a time of 24.88.
Erin Boettcher set a PR and school record in the 400 meters (56.54) and hit the NCAA provisional mark.
Ella Baryo in the 800 meters placed third and set a new PR of 2:15.41. That time is also ranked second all-time at Davenport. She also won the mile with a PR and school record of 4:55.81.
Alivia Lamborne was able to PR in the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:58.66 and rank fourth all-time at DU.
Arrionna Wallace also set a PR in the 60 meters (7.91) and that is third best in school history.
Hannah Fitzpatrick finished fifth in the shot put with a throw of 37' 10.5".
