GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its weekly awards following the 13th week of competition of the 2024-25 swimming & diving season. Earning recognition were three Saginaw Valley State swimmers and divers -- Benjamin Wainman (men's swimming), Rory Kauffman (men's diving) and Cailey Mills (women's diving) -- and
Nadia Jastrzabek from Davenport (women's swimming).
WOMEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: Nadia Jastrzabek, Davenport
Nadia Jastrzabek had the most notable performance of the meet for Davenport at Saginaw Valley State as she set the school record in the 50 free (23.38) and 100 free (50.49). She just started competing in the winter semester and already has left her mark. Those times are also NCAA B cut for potential inclusion in the national championships.
