Box Score BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - The men's tennis team was searching for their second GLIAC win of the season, but it wasn't meant to be in a 4-3 loss at Ferris State. The Bulldogs won their 11th straight against the Panthers, but needed to go the distance in order to do it.
Davenport got the doubles point by winning two of the three matches.
Simone Pacciolla and
Reuben Bakker took the win 6-3 at one doubles over Kevin and Erik Kovacs.
Carlos Henriquez and
Jaden Bender at two doubles also won 6-2 over Adrian Catahan and Kacper Pasielak.
The top two flights of singles both went three sets with each team getting a win.
Daniel Calver at two singles got a point for DU with a 6-1, 4-6, 7-5 decision over Alessandro Santangelo. Kevin Kovacs at one singles defeated Pacciolla 6-7, 6-2, 6-4. The third point for the Panthers was a win at five singles by Henriquez (7-5, 6-4) over Jose Andres Perez Alarcon.
