ALLENDALE, Mich. — Davenport track and field participated in the GVSU Bill Clinger Classic, where junior Julia Ott secured sixth place in the women's high jump with a mark of 5' 1.75". Meanwhile, Jayla Procter demonstrated consistency by placing fourth in the women's weight throw with a distance of 50' 7.25" and set her new personal best.

Sprints  
Ethan Scholten placed 7th in the Men's 60 Meters Finals with a time of 7.03 and also placed 7th in the Preliminaries at 6.97.

Distance  
Lucas Van Meter secured 14th place in the Men's Mile with a time of 4:17.27 and set his new personal best.

Hurdles  
Tori Lator finished 29th in the Women's 60 Hurdles Preliminaries with a time of 9.86. Mark Palmeter placed 36th in the Men's 60 Hurdles Preliminaries with a time of 9.58.

Jumps  
Julia Ott achieved 6th place in the Women's High Jump with a mark of 5' 1.75". Ethan Scholten placed 10th in the long jump (21' 2.75").

Throws  
Jayla Procter placed 4th in the Weight Throw with a mark of 50' 7.25" and 7th in Shot Put with a mark of 40' 2.25". In Men's Shot Put, Chandler Griffiths secured 5th place with a mark of 50' 6.75". James Horn placed 7th in the shot put with a throw of 49' 5".

Pole Vault
Nick Ruvalcaba placed 9th in the pole vault with a height of 14' 10".
