EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The Men's and Women's swimming and diving teams wrapped up their trip to the 2026 NCAA National Championship on Saturday, March 14th with two top-25 finishes. The men's team finished in 23rd place and the women's team finished in 24th place.
Tuesday, March 10th
Parker Schut,
Robert Russo, and
Matthew Gauck all competed in the men's championship pre-qualification diving meet.
Schut placed 39th on 1-meter and 3rd on 3-meter. The 3rd place finish on 3-meter officially qualified Parker for the diving championships . Russo placed 20th on 1-meter and 11th on 3-meter. The 11th place finish officially qualified Robert for the diving championships.
Matthew Gauck placed 23rd on 1-meter and 23rd on 3-meter.
Wednesday, March 11th
Nadia Jastrzabek competed in the 50 freestyle and the women's 200 medley relay. The women's 200 medley relay (Pinkowicz, Janaszek-Seydlitz, Shank, and Jastrzabek) placed 12th with a time of 1:42.48, earning second team All-America. Schut and Russo competed in the 1-meter diving. Parker placed 13th and Robert placed 14th, they both earned second team All-American honors.
Thursday, March 12th
The women's 400 medley relay (Pinkowicz, Janaszek-Seydlitz, Shank, and Jastrzabek) placed 13th with a time of 3:44.89, also earning second team All-America.
Friday, March 13th
Zofia Janaszek-Seydlitz finished 16th in the women's 100 breaststroke and
Micah Sholl finished 14th in the 100 breaststroke, both earning second team All-America. Russo placed 15th in the 3-meter diving, earning second team All-America. Schut placed seventh in the 3-meter diving, breaking the school record with a score of 512.40, and earning first team All-America.
Saturday, March 14th
Jastrzabek competed in the 100 freestyle,
Alicja Pinkowicz competed in the 200 backstroke, and both Janaszek-Seydlitz and Sholl competed in the 200 breaststroke. Nadia tied for 28th in the 100 freestyle (51.15). Alicja finished 24th in the 200 backstroke (2:03.31). Micah finished 24th in the 200 breaststroke (2:02.59).
The team had seven second team All-American performances and one first team All-American performances.
