GLIAC - Watervliet, Michigan native and sophomore pitcher Hannah Tahaney earned GLIAC Pitcher of the Week honors following a strong showing during Davenport's recent Florida trip.

Tahaney made five appearances in the circle, logging 19.1 innings while allowing just five earned runs. She struck out 22 batters, issued five walks, and allowed 16 hits while facing 85 batters.

Her most notable outing came against Walsh, where Tahaney delivered seven shutout innings and carried a scoreless game into extra innings. Under the international tiebreaker rule, which places a runner on second base to begin the inning, Walsh managed the game's lone run in the eighth to secure a 1–0 victory, with the deciding run ruled unearned.

So far this season, Tahaney has appeared in eight games with five starts, recording 25 strikeouts across 29.0 innings pitched. She currently holds a 2.17 ERA, the lowest on the Davenport pitching staff.
