Trio of Panthers Earn All-GLIAC Honors

GLIAC – The Davenport University men's golf team had three student-athletes earn All-Conference honors, the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced on Thursday (May 14). Cayden Kwan and Justin Grimard garnered Second Team All-GLIAC selections, while Chen-Shiuan Wu was an Honorable Mention All-Conference selection.

Kwan finished with an average score of 73 and five top-five finishes. He finished first in two tournaments, the DU Panther Invite (Oct. 11-12) and the Saddlebrook Spring Kickoff (March 3-5). In 2025-26, Kwan was named GLIAC Golfer of the Week two times only finished outside the top-25 individually once.

For Grimard, he had the second-best average on the team at 73.7. He secured four top-10 finishes, including a first-place finish at the Motor City Shakedown (Sept. 29-30). After that victory, Grimard was named the GLIAC Golfer of the Week, marking the second time in his career he has earned the award.

Rounding things out for DU, Wu finished 2025-26 with a 73.9 in the 2025-26 season. He secured five top-10 finishes on the season as a sophomore. His best finish came at the Saddlebrook Spring Kickoff (March 3-5) with a second-place finish.
