Panthers Close 2025-26 Season at NCAA Regionals

BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - The Davenport University men's golf team concluded its 2025-26 season this past weekend at the NCAA Division II Central and Midwest Regional at the Katke Golf Course. The Panthers finished 15th overall, shooting 894 (+30) through 54 holes of play.

Leading the Panthers was Cayden Kwan, shooting 220 (+4) through 54 holes. The junior was tied for second after the first two rounds, shooting five under through the first two rounds. He finished the event with 11 birdies and an eagle through three days of action.

Justin Grimard and Chen-Shiuan Wu tied for 50th overall, each shooting 225 (+9). Grimard had his best round in the first with a score of 73 (+1), while recording eight birdies through three rounds. Wu finished on a high note, with his best round coming on the final day, shooting 72 (E), with five birdies in the final 18.

Two strokes behind Grimard and Wu was T.J. Chiu, securing a 227 (+11). The freshman had seven birdies and a low round of 73 (+1) in the second. Rounding things out for DU was Pedro Russi, shooting 242 (+26).
