G-MAC – Jayden Ashey of the Davenport University men's lacrosse team has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Offensive Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Monday afternoon (April 6). Ashley continues his generational run of Athlete of the Week nods, as this marks the fifth this season and third consecutive. 

Overall, the men's lacrosse team has earned G-MAC Athlete of the Week honors eight times this season.

This past week, Ashley led the team  to a 24-4 win over Davis & Elkins with a career-high 14 points (third most in G-MAC History), the most in school history in the NCAA Division II era. The senior also had six points (five goals and one assist) in a loss to UIndy.

Looking ahead, Ashley and the Panthers will compete in their final home game of the regular season, hosting Seton Hill on Saturday (April 18) at the DU Turf Field.
